Do you accept employment contract written in Arabic/French? 

NO, an English translation must be provided if the employment contract is in Arabic or French.

I first entered Morocco as tourist and now my status changed and I already have work permit/la carte, is there anything I need to process at MWO?

YES, if your current status is as a worker and you have a work permit/la carte and a valid employment contract you must process your bm-verification at MWO. Can I apply for contract verification during weekends?

NO, our office is open every Mondays to Fridays from 9:00am – 6:00pm.

I live far from your office in Rabat, is there another way for me to apply for contract verification?

If you are near Casablanca you can visit us every Thursday at the Honorary Consulate (10am-2pm). If your jobsite is not Morcco but in other countries under our jurisdiction, you may submit the scanned copy of your documents to our email mwo_morocco@dmw.gov.ph. The scanned copy of the verified documents will also be sent to you through email.

What type of documents can MWO verify regarding my invitation for my relatives to come visit me in Morocco? 

NONE. MWO’s mandate only covers OFWs. We do not have the authority to process or verify any type of document for those who will come here as tourist. You may contact the Consular Section of PE Rabat for the Affidavit of Support (+212619202240 / rabat.pe@dfa.gov.ph).

But the Philippine immigration is asking my family to present a verified contract even though they will only come here as a tourist, what should I do? 

This is not under MWO’s mandates. We advise that your relatives speak directly with the immigration for proper guidance. We are not authorized to process any document for tourists.

Can I pay my SSS, and Pagibig at MWO?

NO, for now there is no SSS or Pagibig representative in Morocco. MWO is not authorized to receive any payment regarding SSS and Pagibig. We advice that you check their respective websites if you can still pay even while overseas.

My residency status is as spouse/permanent/long-term, is there anything I need to process at MWO?

NONE, our mandate only covers OFWs (working status). Those with a different residency status such as spouse/permanent/long term/business/student are NOT required to get an OEC/verified contract.
